It is Kansai route map that covers JR and the private railway in Kansai
Special express, fast, and "Station" of the rush etc. of not only the route map but also each route are understood.
JR and the private railway at Kansai 1,739 station are collected.

The area of the Kansai route map is a part Kansai 2 prefecture 5 prefecture (Osaka and Hyogo, Kyoto, Shiga, Nara, Wakayama, and Mie).

・Choice is possible from 30 railroad companies.
・Each route can be selected from the railway company further.
・Each route is a display of the station name (Japanese and English) and the transfers.
・In the station name list, the switch is possible in "Stop" by the station button.
・The station is displayed at the station by the train type (a limited express, high speed, a high speed express, an express, a semi-express, normal).
・I move to a route list when I tap a station name by a route map

... its a great application. Had a chance to use it and feel very comfortable relying on it.
In general, this is a really solid app. It covers almost every train line in the Kansai area. Subways are included, but arent selectable or searchable unless you own the corresponding app and import the data. I already had the Osaka route map and it was really easy to import the data. To get all the stations you need to buy the Osaka, Kyoto and Hyogo route maps seperately. Pros: -Covers all JR and private railways -Station names in English as well as Kanji Cons: -Subway stations are there, but you cant search or interact with them -No route finding support. You can find stations, but not ideal routes between them or train times. Conclusion -Buy it, you wont find a better or easier to use route map in the App store. Beware that you will probably want to purchase atleast one supporting app to get the subway info so the actual price will end up being $2.99-4.99
Great app, but looking at the map, you cant really tell which line is which, and there is no really wasy access to a key. It would also be nice if this ap would let you enter a station to start at, then enter a station you wish toi alight at, that way the app can map out which lines to take and what stations to transfer to. I use to have an app for an HP pda for DC Metro that would tell me al lthi, and it was great. Enter a start point (station) and the alighting point (station) and it would map out what train lines to take and where to transfer to. It was perfect. This does not do that. Still a good app, just is a tad hard to use in real life.
Living in Kyoto this app is a great time saver in Kyoto and kansai. Only thing to make it better would be bus info and train times. Use the app daily love it!! Thanks

Some bad moments

Please give attention to the map section as it is not working on the new phone. I get a black screen and sometimes random bits of a map section when I try to use the map navigation at the bottom or continue from a station search to locate where the station is on the map. Other than that the app wad working fine. Good solid app for train stations and locations. Will there be a consideration to add train times in a future update?
So, what does this do? I run it and it says "KANSAI Route Map" at the top. Then a white blank screen. I touch "Map" and it does give a map. That much it does do. I touch "Station" and again, a white screen, with a disclaimer at the top "* Only local trains rail not included." I go to "Search" and type in "Osaka" and "No Results". I type in "Amagasaki" and again "No Results." Clicking on the "KANSAI Route Map Support" takes me to a webpage but no way that I can see to submit a support or help question.
